This lesson will teach you how to use Arcane Advice for the Best Results.
The Free Lessons of ARCANE ADVICE are one of the many ways Master Arcane and The Crow Academy are able to show their love for the Global BDSM and Fetish Community. You will find insight on issues both simple and straight-forward, as well as guidance on incredibly complex issues that can often be mind-boggling to the uninitiated aspirant just finding their way into the BDSM / Fetish Universe. It is our pleasure to share with you this taste of The Crow Academy’s Style and Philosophy.
Please Note:
As Master Arcane is a Male Dominant and his private partners have always been Female Submissives, all the lessons on Arcane Advice are written from the Male Dominant / Female Submissive perspective. HOWEVER, here at The Crow Academy we embrace ALL the variations of Role and Gender that exist in the Greater Global BDSM Community, and we invite you to substitute your own personal orientations into each and every Lesson. 🙂
To use the Arcane Advice website you have several ways to proceed…
• CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER – From the Home Page and in general, all Lessons appear by Chronological Order, with the Most Recent lesson at the Top. This applies to any Comments found below a lesson as well, with the Most Recent comment at the Top.
• SEARCH – If there is a certain BDSM Subject or D/s Topic in which you are particularly interested, you can always use the SEARCH feature on the Right Side, entering any Keyword you choose. While the SEARCH box will automatically capitalize your Keywords, the capitalization does not affect the Search Results. You will be shown all Lessons that contain your Keyword.
• A-Z LISTING – You can see a complete A-Z listing of All Lessons By Title by clicking on the exact words “All Lessons A-Z“ located near the Top Right Side below the SEARCH field. The A-Z Listing is very helpful if there is a particular Lesson you are trying to find.
• CATEGORIES – We are happy to provide Categories – located in the Main Navigation Bar – to help you orient quickly onto one of several tracks that pertain to the most common genres of questions. For example: Do you personally identify as Dominant or Submissive? Is your main interest in How To Build Successful D/s Relationships? Would you like inspiration on how to proceed with BDSM? Perhaps you are seeking greater understanding on how to achieve successful Negotiations? The Categories are here to help students of the BDSM Arts narrow their search into Key Areas which most will want to explore.
The Categories pertain as follows:
Dominant — For Lessons regarding anyone identifying as a Dominant or who wants to explore their Dominant side, for discussions of complex issues that pertain particularly to the Dominant Experience, and for lessons on how to improve and progress as a dedicated Dominant.
Submissive — For Lessons regarding anyone identifying as Submissive or who wants to explore their Submissive side, for discussions of complex issues that pertain particularly to the Submissive Experience, and for lessons on how to improve and progress as an sincere Submissive.
Relationships — For Lessons, insight and direction on how to create Powerfully Strong D/s Relationships, for discussions of the challenges encountered in D/s Relationships and solutions to these challenges, and for expressions of the Romance and Passion within D/s Relationships.
Negotiation — For Lessons, insight and direction on necessary elements for a Healthy BDSM or D/s Negotiation, for suggestions on the Vetting Process when selecting a new partner, and for matters of Self-Understanding and Self-Expression necessary to have a successful Negotiation.
D/s Training — For Lessons on specific Techniques of Domination and Submission, for discussions of complex issues that may arise between the Dominant and the Submissive during D/s Training, and for Lessons on the Art of creating the healthiest forms of Dominant and Submissive Expression.
BDSM Play — For Lessons about BDSM Techniques, Tools and Toys, for advice on creating incredible BDSM scenes and experiences with your partner, and for discussions of complex issues that may arise during, before, or after BDSM scenes and play.
Selfhood — For Lessons and meditations on Being The Best Person You Can Be using the wonderful experience of Healthy Domination and Submission as a tool to improve oneself in various aspects of Life (for both Doms and Subs), for specific advice on helping one’s partner in their own self-advancement, and for discussions of complexities that may surprisingly show up during a BDSM or D/s experience that pertain to a deeper level of Life in general.
Gear — For Lessons regarding specific BDSM Toys and their use, for discussions of various Fetish accoutrement, and for lessons on the wise selection of BDSM Tools and Toys that you may wish to add to your own collection.
Of course you are invited to read any lesson you please and enjoy them all.
What matters most to us is that you find value in what you read, and it is even advisable to sometimes read from the perspective of the “Other Side,” e.g. a Dominant reading a lesson for Submissives, or vice-versa.
